PFOX seeks accountability from PepsiCo

Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) is calling on all PepsiCo shareholders to vote for Shareholder Proposal No. 4 - the Charitable Contributions Report, which asks PepsiCo to divulge its standards for funding and account for how the Company’s charitable contributions are actually used. The PepsiCo Foundation has been one of the largest donors to gay political organizations.
In his testimony at the PepsiCo shareholder’s meeting in 2009 PFOX representative Greg Quinlan told the Board of Directors that “PFLAG contributes to the intolerance of the ex-gay community and stereotypes former homosexuals like myself. By funding PFLAG PepsiCo promotes fear and hostility against the ex-gay community, and supports and spreads lies about ex-gays.” (more…)
Disney continues to discriminate against ex-gays

The resolution before the Walt Disney Company to include ex-gays in Disney’s mandatory diversity training for employees was not able to garner the support it needed to pass. It showed in stark reality the grip the gay rights movement has on the entertainment giant. The proposal was presented by Greg Quinlan on behalf of Parents and Friends of Ex-gays and Gays. Disney’s Board of Directors did not even want to consider the resolution, and only did so because they were ordered to by the Securities and Exchange Commission. (more…)
Exodus International to add new sessions to Love Won Out conference
The Love Won Out conference March 6th in San Diego will the first under the leadership of Exodus International. Exodus issued a press release stating that “While much of the conference structure will remain unchanged, the event will now offer a session specifically geared to pastors and church staff to enable them to compassionately reach those dealing with these issues in their church. It will also offer a Spouses Only session, led by Mike Goeke whose own marriage underwent a crisis due to his struggle with same-sex attraction.” (more…)
Disney Ordered to Include Ex-Gays in Shareholder Resolution

Burbank, CA — The Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) has directed the Walt Disney Company to accept a shareholder resolution requesting the inclusion of ex-gays in Disney’s sexual orientation policies and corporate diversity programs. Disney had opposed the ex-gay resolution and asked the SEC for permission to exclude it from stockholder consideration. (more…)
Exodus International urges Uganda not to criminalize adult consensual homosexual behavior
The largest ex-gay organization in the world sent a letter to the President Museveni of Uganda urging him and his country not to criminalize consensual homosexual behavior. Exodus leaders gave this counsel to Museveni, we believe that sexual crimes against children, homosexual or heterosexual, are the most serious of offenses and should be punished accordingly. Homosexual behavior in consensual relationships, however, is another matter.
Ex-gay Michael Glatze gives two year update

Love Won Out ministry transitions to Exodus International
Focus on the Family is passing on the ministry of their Love Won Out conferences to Exodus International, the largest ex-gay organization in the world. The Love Won Out events are one day conferences on homosexuality that have been held in over fifty cites in the last decade, mostly in the United States and usually held in churches. Love Won Out conferences present truths about homosexuality to concerned and interested citizens; truths that are purposely ignored by academia and the media. (more…)
Fox News recognizes ex-gay concerns
Ex-gay activist Greg Quinlan’s concern over the hate crime bill before Congress has been picked up by Fox News. Normally the viewpoints of ex-gays are dismissed by the major news networks, so this is a big deal for the ex-gay movement. Quinlan’s concern: “Think twice America. Do you want to give gay activists the right to hate under the guise of ‘civil rights’ protections.” Fox News Article July 15, 2009
Ex-gay Educators Caucus at NEA Assembly for the sixth year
For the sixth year in a row the NEA’s Ex-Gay Educators Caucus is sharing their ex-gay perspectives at the National Educational Association’s Representative Assembly. The ex-gay perspective was first heard on the Assembly floor in 2002 when Jeralee Smith took her turn on the floor microphone and told the delegates that she was an ex-gay and the portrayal of the homosexual life by the convention’s gay activists was not her experience.
