The following excerpts are from Joseph Aron’s article “Chris Christie and the LGBT Agenda” on JewishPress.com: “I used to be a Chris Christie fan. The New Jersey governor’s candid, blunt responses to almost any question that came his way always seemed to create an aura of conviction – a certain sincerity rarely seen in today’s politicians. This quality undoubtedly helped make him the rising national political star he’s become, with many speculating that he’s destined for the White House.”
“So I was appalled when Christie last week signed into law a bill banning so-called gay conversion therapy in New Jersey. (more…)

The following excerpts are from the Rev. Dr. Clenard H. Childress, Jr.’s “Column: Homosexual activists bully Donnie McClurkin” on BlackNews.com: “Nationwide (August 26, 2013) — The hijacking of the Civil Rights Movement by homosexual activists took a quantum leap with the barring of Donnie McClurkin from the Martin Luther King Concert celebration. Such a strategic strike by the LBGT could not have happened without the compliance of the normal House Negroes of the Democrat Party, who also profit from the plight of African-Americans. This has become typical of Democrat administrations. African-Americans must take complete notice of the fact that the voice of the Black Community was completely disregarded for a few disgruntled homosexual activists. Mayor Vincent Gray, of Washington, DC due to pressure from the Lesbian Bisexual Gay Transgender lobby requested internationally known gospel singer, and Senior Pastor of Perfecting Faith Church, of Freeport, New York, be banned from performing. Mayor Vincent Grey, and undoubtedly the White House, all agreed.” (more…)

The following excerpts are from the article “’Ex-Gay’ Non-Profit and Arizona Governor Are Victims of Internet Hoax Story with Made-Up Anti-Gay Quotes” on ChristianNewsWire.com: … “‘The fake story was apparently intended to embarrass Governor Brewer and People Can Change, and to encourage people to verbally assault our organization and our members,’ Wyler said. Within 24 hours, People Can Change was inundated with more than 150 hate emails and phone calls, many using extreme profanity and threats against the organization and its members, he said.”
“‘We have no programs for school children,’ Wyler said. ‘We never try to convince anyone to try to change who is happy being gay. We only support men who are intrinsically self-motivated to pursue change. (more…)

The following excerpts are from Linda Harvey’s article “Christie’s score: ‘Gay’ agenda 3, children 0” on the World Net Daily website: … “So now Christie favors teens being denied the opportunity to overcome homosexual desires, which are not inborn but often the byproduct of early sexual exposure or molestation. No science has found a gay gene, but Christie said he believes people are born this way and that it’s not a sin.”
“There are only a few reasons why an alleged ‘conservative’ politician supports such fascist left-wing schemes. Perhaps Christie doesn’t really have much of a heart for kids. If 12-year-olds are indoctrinated at school into thinking they are homosexual and end up the victims of advances by HIV-infected predators, maybe the governor is not too concerned. (more…)

The following excerpts are from Dr. Susan Berry’s article “Black Pastors Organization Condemns Persecution of Christians over Traditional Values” on Brietbart.com: “An association of African-American pastors has condemned Washington, D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray and the organizers of the Martin Luther King 50th Anniversary Memorial concert for disinviting a New Jersey gospel singer and pastor from the concert because he is a reformed homosexual and an outspoken advocate for marriage between a man and a woman.”
“‘It is appalling and embarrassing that Mayor Gray and others would discriminate against someone who holds traditional views that break from some in the current black leadership, especially for an event marking the legacy of Martin Luther King,’ said Rev. William Owens, president of the Coalition of African-American Pastors (CAAP). Owens organized students during the civil rights movement and marched with King.” (more…)

The following excerpts are from Janet Boyne’s article “Why the Gay Agenda Is Attacking Ex-Homosexual Donnie McClurkin” on CharismaNews.com: … “How can you disinvite a black man [Donnie McClurkin] from attending the 50th anniversary of the civil rights movement? Let’s get one thing straight, people: Homosexuality is not a civil rights issue! … I am black. I became a lesbian. They are not the same.”
“I did not choose the color of my skin. I did choose to enter a lesbian relationship and to live a homosexual lifestyle for 14 years. I also chose to leave that lifestyle, but I cannot choose to stop being black. There is a difference. The color of my skin is an immutable quality of my being while my lesbianism was a deliberate series of actions resulting in a lifestyle choice.” (more…)

The following excerpts are from Christopher Doyle’s article “Gay Activists Hijack Civil Rights Event, Discriminate Against African-American Ex-Gay Donnie McClurklin” on the Voice of the Voiceless website: “It’s a sad day in America when a Grammy Award winning Gospel singer, who is African-American, gets uninvited to perform at a civil rights celebration honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. because it would ‘offend’ gay activists.”
“But that’s exactly what has happened. Gay activists have successfully hijacked the civil rights movement in America, and last Saturday, held the city of Washington, D.C. and its Mayor Vincent Gray hostage unless ex-gay Donnie McClurklin was uninvited.” (more…)

The following excerpts are from Angela Loo’s article “Ex-gay gospel singer banned from King commemoration” on WorldMag.com: “Washington, D.C., Mayor Vincent Gray uninvited Grammy-winning gospel singer Donnie McClurkin to a concert commemorating the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s March on Washington Saturday because of his testimony about walking away from homosexuality.”
“‘There should be freedom of speech as long as it’s done in love,’ McClurkin said in an online video to his fans. ‘It’s bullying, it’s discrimination, it’s intolerance, and it’s depriving someone of their civil rights to be told they cannot come to an event and by coming it would cause a disruption.’” (more…)
